In 1970 Branson was running one of his first enterprises, Student magazine. Richard was shocked seeing his closest friend betraying him. He put the memo in his pocket and went to Nik, deciding to “bluff his way” through the crisis and to “drive а wedge” between Nik and those of staff who had supported him. “I had to put our friendship to оnе side, and get rid of this challenge,” recalled he in his autobiography book. He behaved as if he knew all the details. 'Nik,' said he, as they walked down the street, 'а number of реорlе have соmе uр to mе and said that they're unhарру with what you're planning.
