Steven Fisher joined Citi in 1983 and has completed a series of corporate banking assignments in both the OECD and the emerging markets of Asia and Eastern Europe. He has been based in Moscow from 2002, where he currently is Citi's Corporate Bank Head for Russia and the C.I.S. Citi has organized and participated in over $50 billion of financings for Russian and international clients in the C.I.S. region during Steve's tenure.
Prior to moving to Moscow, Steve was in London where he was Citi's head of Structured Trade Finance for the CEEMEA region where he led a team which structured and executed complex export credit agency linked financings in a wide range of industries across the emerging markets.
Steve also worked in Asia for over 10 years where he completed several corporate finance/investment bank assignments for Citi in Taipei, Taiwan; Bangkok, Thailand; and in Hong Kong.
Steven obtained his B.A. at Cornell University, New York, and M.S. degree at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He speaks fluent Russian and Chinese among several other languages. He has served as a Board member for the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia since 2003.
